Valles Mines lies...

...12 miles south of Crystal City/Festus on Highway 67. It's generally a good idea to check in at The General Store (call 573-631-6875 first). Here's how to get there...

Southbound: Get off at Valles Mines Interchange. Go west (right) on V road 200 feet and take a left onto "Valles Mines School Road" to #14117, The General Store.

PS, If you miss the southbound interchange exit ramp, you can catch the other end of the road by turning right 1 1/2 miles south at the green "Valles Mines School Road" sign. Follow it downhill bearing right at the bottom and continuing to #14117.

Northbound (from Bonne Terre and points south):

Pass Y-Highway on your right. Go 4/10 mile farther north, start signalling for a turn. Turn left at the green "Valles Mines School Road" sign after the JJ intersection on top of the hill. Follow it downhill bearing right at the bottom and continuing to #14117.
