Bring Your Own Horse

A true story about some favorite visitors...

"... a great place for a grandparent to take a child of any age. Ride horseback or just play in the creek. Ride down the old railroad bed for a mile or two, then turn around and come back to the General Store. Then go home tired. "Next time we will go farther..."

"New gravel and parking helped us get our bigger trailer in."

We can ride side by side in a lot of places, especially on the old chat railbed and through the railroad tunnel. That's at least 3 miles. It you backtrack and follow the new #1 E road signs going east to the Rock Road then the Horse Trail to the General Store, you can picnic at the Artesian Well on your way back to the chat pile trailer parking."
