The Rozier House Ruins - An Unsolved Arson

Arson Reward Poster [see on left]
A victim of arson, the house burnt to a pile of ashes that night. "Don't bother renewing the fire tag...", we had been told, "...that house will go up like a tinder box". And yet I was called an hour after the blaze was discovered, drove 44 miles from St. Louis to the house, and watched it burn for another 12 hours. All that remained was a Franklin stove and a singed, expired fire tag. The arsonist was never caught.
