Valles Mines Railroad Restoration Coming?

Peckham Brothers Quarry in Rhode Island assisted with plans to restore the 3.5 miles of former Mississippi River and Bonne Terre Railway right-of-way for local rail commuting service to Tunnel Station from Valles Mines Post Office Station.

Current costs are estimated at $75,000/mi. Investors needed. Bringing in a Budd Rail Diesel Car, although never in use there historically, would be fun. At 10 mph max. speed, it would take 23 minutes to cross the property.
